Anyways, I had twenty minutes at the library, which felt so... great. I didn't dare go to Level 3 alone. Somehow, that level always makes me nervous; the floor where most go to hangout.
At 6PM (I didn't want to be the first one in the LT) I made my way to the lecture, where Lisda (my secondary school friend) waved at me and I sat at the seat she saved. For the record, Lisda is the first familiar face I saw. No wait, there were a couple of familiar faces (one Malay dance girl who greeted me but I don't know her name, God bless her, and another Indian/Arab-looking guy from Engine who looked so lost with his droopy eyes haha) .
So anyways, today was a complete waste of time going to school. The lecturer didn't even introduce himself so I don't have the slightest idea who he is. I don't think he's "Vivian", my tutor. And Waneh, this sem's textbook is different ah. Is yours Heslins? 'Cause the lecturer mentioned they've changed the book and I reckon I have to get one for myself. Urghhh.
Kedebak kedebuk, the lecture then finishes at 645, at which I bid Lisda goodbye and invited her and her gang to my house (sempat selitkan hal Raya) and made my way to the Library, where I wasted another fifteen minutes at the comp.
As I made my way out of the lib, the sky over the reservoir at a distance was... breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking. I was like *gasp*. The clouds were streaked red. The sky on top of the clouds were purple, and those below were pinkish/orangish. For the umpteenth time in my life, I cursed myself for not bringing the camera. Dang dang dang. What a sight.
Aba picked me up at 7.10, and only with Wani's persuasion, I had the urge to blog this. Toodles!

but reading, good company and reflection
must finish him.
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
