i am the first daughter of the first daughter of the first daughter.
i love my family deep deep. my favourite red is carmaine.
i also love football, good books, sunsets, grinning babies, poets, photographers, a good intellectual conversation, quirky people, pious bad boys with soft hearts and good minds, happy surprises, the rain, flat shoes, the thought of painting, coffeebean's caramel ice blend, borders (as in the bookstore), bubble tea, and waking up on my own.

I even cleaned up my room a bit 'cause a certain Miss Waneh is coming over tomorrow. Haven't set the time yet, but I hope we do go cycling. Can't wait! *bites fingernails* Okayla so my room isn't exactly in tiptop condition, but can do ah.
Dee cooked for me Maggi, but not before I offered to pay her a dollar and aba offered to fetch Mona from school downstairs. I fried a prata while waiting for the water to boil, and aba showed me how to siang ikan. I know I know, you're thinking, "Aik, siang ikan pon tak tahu??" =p Well at least this girl is trying okay?! At least I know how to fry them. Hahah!
It's been a while since I've had a meaningful thought-provoking conversation *ponders*. The last time was, I don't know, last Sunday? Reflecting now, the last few days weren't my happiest, but I find myself being content with everything so far. I can laugh with my parents, I feel closer to my sisters, especially Dee, I have friends who I know will be there for me should I need them, I have someone to care and who cares.. So how can I not be anything but grateful to Him? Plus, I have a roof over my head and clothes behind my back. I can't complain.
I had strawberry yogurt just now, and it was well worth my $3.25. Perfectly yummy. I love the after-taste, especially when you drink plain water afterwards. *Stops to think* I'm so bored, I'm talking about yogurts?? Hah!
I was reading a book, Twelve Red Herrings by Jeffrey Archer, a collection of short stories. One of them was about a guy who saw this beautiful girl, then blah blah blah, and then Mr. Archer supplied the reader with four endings, in which one of them the girl turned out to be lesbian. But that's beside the point. The thing is, it got me thinking about how MY story would end. It was once said by an anonymous being, who I can't name because I simply can't be bothered to find out who, said something between the line of "My life has a wonderful cast; I just can't figure out the plot." I wonder..
Anyways. Running out of ideas, Dee. Guess I'm not as much a nag-machine as you are. Alas, poor me! So until next time, diddly-dee-dang.. =)

but reading, good company and reflection
must finish him.
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
