I woke up, thinking that I had to go through the day smiling, or die trying to. Okay, that sounds waay dramatic, and Muslihah, if you're reading this, I think your drama-mama antics are finally rubbing off to me. Thanks but no thanks *chuckles*. Anyways.
I was supposed to be at White Sands Primary School for my Mentoring at 8, but I got there at around 8.20, and was the second Senior Mentor to arrive; all nine others were Junior Mentor, which to me was an embarrasement. Peh. Today was Mentoring Day, so all we basically did was shake leg and have fun. The kids were given free ice-cream and pizza, then they played a mini race, amazing race style. Me and Jannah were in-charge of the 6th station, where the kids and their mentors had to form stars using their bodies. I think they had fun, so that was rewarding.
Since the beginning of my school term, I've been mentoring a couple of Primary 6 students, and rightfully today was their last day; the others still had to come back on the 8th of Oct. But then our Pri6 students were like, "Eh we want to come back also!" So that was nice ah.. I'm gonna miss all of them and their stubborn heads. Syakilah, Syafiqahs, Ellyna, Sufiah, Ashikin, Haziqah, Hadhinah, Khairi, Hafidz, Jian Feng, Aliff... *wipes tears*
Then when I got back home, my aba was in my room, programming my computer, which for some God forsaken reason couldn't work last night. Now I have Microsoft XP (before that was 98) and MSN 7.5 (before 7.0). Yay! Hahah. Yes yes I'm such a Daddy's Girl. =p
I just hope I have enough things to distract me for the days to come. I don't want to think too much, because I think I feel too much, and if you add both, well... I find myself just praying everytime I'm confused, for myself and for him as well. Maybe there's a happy ending to all this, I don't know. Just pray that... Hmmm.

must finish him.
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
